The couple say they purchased the property - their first home - at auction without visiting it or "checking the paperwork".

In other videos on the anonymous couple's page you can see that the house is an outdated property that needs a lot of renovation.

The videos feature more and more bizarre discoveries, including a black-and-white image with one person's eyes pierced, a dusty old mirror and a vintage suitcase full of strange objects - including a wooden cross.

Thousands responded to the videos and begged the owners to leave the place at this moment, for fear that the house would be haunted.

One wrote in response: "I did not feel good when I watched it ... there is bad energy there" and another added: "There are definitely ghosts in this house."

Another viewer concluded: "I would not have stayed there even one night."
