Jobs Department: Shaked works to appoint members of the Jewish House to the position of heads of planning and construction committees
According to information received by Walla!
It appears that at least 3 of the appointments that Shaked seeks to promote serve in positions on behalf of the "Jewish House" that supported the right-wing party in the last election.
Some of the appointments provoke opposition in the legal advice of her office but she argues that it is not a problem if the candidates have the professional skills

In recent days, Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked has been promoting a series of appointments of heads of planning and construction committees throughout the country, and according to information received by Walla!
It appears that at least three of the appointments that Shaked seeks to carry out have a clear political affiliation that serve in positions on behalf of the Jewish Home Party that supported the right-wing party in the last election.
Shaked wants to appoint Shimon Hazan, deputy mayor of Sarit Malachi, as chairman of the special committee for planning and construction in Harish. Apart from Hazan, Shaked is also working to appoint two other associates - Uri Buskila, Deputy Mayor of Bat Yam for the position of Chairman of the Planning and Construction Committee at Kesem and Avihu Ben Moshe, member of the Ramat Gan City Council to chair the committee at Whistles. Buskila and Ben Moshe are also members of the House The Jew and are in constant contact with Minister Shaked, also in political matters.

Some of the appointments provoke opposition in the legal advice of the Ministry of the Interior in light of the candidates' political affiliation with Shaked, but the minister claims that this is not a problem if the candidates have the professional skills to fill the position.
However, in light of the reservations about the appointments, it is not clear whether Shaked will be able to implement them.
The appointments to the heads of the committees are significant and are considered for positions that have an impact on planning and construction in the municipal area under their authority and they earn the highest salary levels in the civil service.
Despite this, Shaked does not see any problems in appointing associates or those with a political affiliation to the position.
The Interior Minister's Office said: "The selection process for the heads of the local planning and building committees will be completed in the coming days. The decisions made regarding the heads of the committees will be for professional reasons only. People with political affiliation are not invalid, especially when they have extensive municipal experience in planning and construction.
