According to a recent survey by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Hesse, around ten percent of employees in nursing homes, clinics and facilities for the disabled are not vaccinated.
That corresponds to around 19,400 of the around 200,000 employees in these facilities, the ministry said at the request of the German Press Agency in Wiesbaden.
Wiesbaden – When asked, employees who did not provide any information were classified as unvaccinated.
The Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs has not yet given a concrete answer to possible problems with the supply of care due to a facility-related compulsory vaccination for clinics and nursing homes: Since each individual case has to be checked when enforcing compulsory vaccination, no reliable statement can yet be made about how many people will will actually no longer be available after issuing a ban on entry.
