In the summer of 2022, many holidaymakers will apparently be drawn to Greece.

Despite the corona pandemic, Germans are very keen on vacationing.
One destination seems to be particularly popular this year.
Travel warnings, entry rules and access restrictions have made vacation planning enormously complicated in recent months.
This is also reflected in the booking data of the tour operator Tui: In November and December 2021, the appearance of the Omikron variant caused a slump in bookings.
But now the desire to go on vacation
seems to
be back – and even greater due to the many disappointments in recent months.
By January 30, 2022, 3.5 million are said to have booked a holiday through the tour operator for summer 2022, which corresponds to around 72 percent of the level in summer 2019.
According to a press release, new bookings are even more than 100 percent of the level of the summer of the year before the crisis.

So if you want to spend your summer in Greece, you shouldn't wait too long to get good offers.

in summer 2022. An analysis by

also shows that rental cars are also becoming expensive in many holiday locations*.
On Greece, travelers must therefore
expect an average
price increase of 17 percent .
