On the occasion of the National Day of Local Councils, Homs City Council carried out cleaning and rubble removal works in a number of neighborhoods of the city.
Engineer Imad Al-Saleh, director of hygiene in the council, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the dispossession and cleaning campaigns are continuing throughout the current week, as they included the dispossession of Sixteen Street, Firouzeh axes, Al-Waleed suburb and the city center, and the removal of 2,000 cubic meters of rubble from Wadi Al-Sayeh neighborhood in Old Homs and Karm Shamsham neighborhood.
Al-Saleh pointed out that the works were carried out with the participation of 100 cleaners, in addition to stripping, cleaning and removing weeds and dust from Al-Shuhada Park, behind the Police Headquarters building, Jouret Al-Shayah neighborhood, Al-Waer neighborhood, Wadi Al-Dahab and the entrances to the eastern city, in addition to removing concrete columns from Al-Karama Street.
