Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Siromolotov affirmed that his country receives regular reports that terrorists are preparing for the stage of using chemical weapons in Syria, stressing the need for effective international cooperation with Damascus in the fight against terrorism.
"It has become the preferred method of terrorists to use chemical weapons to subsequently blame government forces, and messages about their readiness still regularly reach us through various channels," Siromolotov said in an interview with TASS.
Siromolotov added: “International terrorism in Syria has been decisively defeated with the main participation of the Russian side, and the security situation is now controlled by Damascus in general.
