When will the curtain rise again for the Schliersee farmer's theater?

The ensemble wants to decide that soon.

After the two-year Corona break, however, there are still a few question marks.

Schliersee

– The curtain on the Schliersee farmer's theater hasn't risen in two years – neither in front of the audience nor during rehearsals.

The club will soon decide how to proceed after the state government has now allowed 75 percent of the audience capacity.

"The loosening is one thing," explains Chairman Florian Reinthaler on request.

But given the number of infections, quarantine and contact persons of infected people, he still sees it as rather black for regular rehearsals.

“That makes it very difficult at the moment.

It's easier as a soloist.” The chairman hopes that a meeting can take place at the end of the week, at which the members can discuss how to proceed.

There are still many question marks about the new season

The Schlierseer Bauertheater has been on hold for two years.

The traditional ensemble is 130 years old this year.

Reinthaler hopes that the summer will bring stable conditions again.

At the moment, the situation for Reinthaler still has many question marks.

What is the status of the contributors, are they vaccinated or recovered?

How many are still there and haven't found their way elsewhere after a forced two-year break?

The choice of pieces also raises questions for the ensemble.

According to Reinthaler, the "Boandlkramerblues", the premiere of which was abruptly canceled by Corona with the 2020 season, has rather worse cards because there are twelve to 14 people on stage.

It is possible that a piece will be chosen that gets by with fewer roles.

And then there is the question of the conditions under which the audience is allowed to come.

"I don't want to be pessimistic.

But thoughts are circling,” says Reinthaler.

"Are you doing yourself a favor?

That is the question."

Hope to see you again in the summer

At the traditional date of Easter in mid-April, the start of the season should not yet be conceivable.

And there will probably not be a full game calendar in 2022 like in normal years.

Reinthaler hopes to see you again on stage in the summer.

"We would be fundamentally willing." After all, acting is the passion that unites the members of the Schliersee Farm Theater.

"You cut the time you invest out of your ribs because you enjoy it."
