Berlin – From the beginning of spring, all far-reaching corona restrictions* in Germany should fall.
This emerges from a first draft resolution for the Corona summit by the federal and state governments on Wednesday that has become public.
The paper envisages a phased opening.
Three-level relaxation
The first easing step, which is not exactly scheduled in the draft resolution, is about private meetings for those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered, as well as access to retail.
The second easing step is scheduled for March 4th in the template.
From then on, the 3G rule should apply in gastronomy.
This means that those who have not been vaccinated should also have access with an up-to-date test.
The same should apply to accommodation offers.
Discotheques and clubs should be allowed to open again from the beginning of March, but the 2G Plus rule will then apply.

There are also plans to admit more people to major national events again.
From March 20th, further protective measures will no longer apply.
However, the mask requirement indoors should remain in place beyond March 20th.
It is planned to be able to adjust the mask requirement depending on the infection situation.
Gastro in a jumble of regulations
Depending on the federal state, different corona measures have been used in the catering trade: In Bavaria and Saxony, for example, the 2G regulation applies in restaurants - pubs, clubs and discos are closed.
However, in many other federal states such as North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Hamburg and Bremen, the 2G+ rule still applies to restaurants.
After that, those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered also need an additional negative test or a booster vaccination.
Thuringia is already relying on the 3G rule.
In addition, there are curfew hours for catering establishments in individual federal states.
Dehoga calls for a permanent reduction in VAT
“Loosening must come now,” demands the Dehoga hotel and restaurant association before the federal and state consultations this week.
Companies need planning security quickly.
The VAT of seven percent on food in restaurants must apply permanently, i.e. beyond December 31, 2022.
"A uniform nationwide plan is needed to lift all access restrictions," adds the association.
