In the forest of Lanouée (Morbihan), the second largest wooded area in Brittany, tension remains high.
Saturday, February 12, a gathering of a hundred opponents to the construction of seventeen wind turbines 200 meters high, in the eastern part of this private domain, degenerated.

The demonstration had yet started well, in front of the town hall of Forges-de-Lanouée, at 1:30 p.m.
“The participants, who came from outside the town, wanted to better understand this project.
They had constructive discussions with the mayor.
But about sixty of them had come with other intentions,”
confirms Marine Cholley, consultation manager at Boralex, the site's wind operator.
Some of them hooded, they left this good-natured gathering around 4:30 p.m. and headed for the Moulin du Lohan wind turbine site, a project that received the green light from the Council of State last April.
They attempted to occupy this site of 11.4 hectares, or 0.3% of the forest area.
