The Health Directorate in Al-Hasakah Governorate has received a quantity of medicines and medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization and the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, for the work of health centers in the governorate.
Al-Hasakah Health Director Dr. Issa Khalaf told SANA reporter that the medical supplies provided by the World Health Organization included oxygen cylinders, oxygen-generating devices, nebulizers, medicines for ambulance departments, anti-inflammatory medicines and medical equipment, while the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, provided emergency medicines and medicines. Infections and personal protective equipment.
Khalaf pointed out that a section of the provided medicines and medical supplies will be allocated to meet the needs of the modernized medical center in the center of Al-Hasakah “the Pearl” and the emergency center, while some of them will be distributed to health centers in the governorate.
