Three Wolfratshausen CSU city councilors have left the committee.

The group of five has practically completely renewed itself.

Wolfratshausen – After the resignations of three members of the CSU, the five-member city council faction of the Christsozialen has been completely renewed.

Mayor Klaus Heilinglechner (BVW) thanked the trio for their work in the most recent city council meeting in the Loisachhalle - and a few minutes later sworn in two successors, Claudia Drexl-Weile and Renate Tilke.

CSU faction leader Peter Plößl and his deputy Alfred Fraas had asked for dismissal from the council at the Christmas meeting of the committee (we reported).

Fraas had apologized for the most recent meeting, while Plößl personally announced his resignation.

The voters had placed their trust in him five times in a row, Plößl was a member of the council for almost 26 years - longer than any other current citizen representative.

He is leaving at his own request, said the former deputy mayor and long-time cultural advisor to the city council.

Not, as the "uninformed press" rumored, because he didn't like the vote in December about the surfing wave.

At that time, the committee had decided with 15:10 votes to raise another cash injection for the project.

City councilor Plößl explains the reason for his resignation

"I'm not sick or tired of office," emphasized Plößl.

But in his eyes, the city has lost its financial policy compass.

A lot of money is spent on projects that are "nice to have", but not a must.

"It's about a project like this again in a moment," said the CSU politician with a view to another vote on the surfing wave - which finally ended the project (we reported).

He, who always warns against excessive generosity on the part of the municipality, must "be consistent now".

Since he "no longer wants to and can't support the spending policy in this way", there is no other option for him than resignation.

"It was an honor for me," says Plößl, "to be able to serve the city and the citizens."

Former mayor Helmut Forster (Wolfratshauser Liste) thanked his former deputy for the "very correct and trusting cooperation".

Fritz Schneller (SPD), now the longest-serving city councilor, recalled the political tug-of-war about the future of the Loisachhalle around 20 years ago.

It was "a fight for the cause", never "a personal dispute" with Plößl.

In the past quarter of a century, buckler has counted 1,500 encounters with Plößl on the local political scene.

A colleague had become "a collegial friend".

Wolfratshausen: Councilor Fraas was "the man for all cases"

Deputy Mayor Günther Eibl thanked his party friend, whom he appreciates for his balancing style, for his commitment.

Plößl fought both for the welfare of the rafting town and for the goals of the Wolfratshausen CSU.

Fraas characterized Eibl with the words: "He was the man for all cases", who always gave "1000 percent".

According to Mayor Heilinglechner, cultural advisor Fraas had asked for his release from the city council due to extreme professional stress.

As reported, Susanne Thomas (CSU) resigned from her city council mandate for health reasons.

"There are more important things for you at the moment," said Eibl.

Representatives of all factions wished a speedy recovery.

According to the head of the town hall, Heilinglechner, he has his fingers crossed that the 52-year-old “gets back on her feet quickly”.

Wolfgang Weichlein is expected to replace Thomas on the city council.

City Council: New CSU spokeswoman is Claudia Drexl-Weile

The change in personnel in the ranks of the Christsozialen also leads to changes in tasks: the new spokeswoman for the parliamentary group is Drexl-Weile, Vice-Chairwoman is Tilke.

Sepp Schwarzenbach (CSU) took over the office of cultural advisor following a unanimous decision by the council.

The eliminator Plößl had the final word: "Thank you for the many good words", it is often not possible for a person to "hear them anymore".
