The fees for the Kinsau kindergarten are increasing: From the next kindergarten year, the parents have to dig a little deeper into their pockets.

Kinsau – Due to tariff increases, an adjustment of the fees for the kindergarten and for school child care was now also under discussion in the Kinsau municipal council – as has already happened in some other municipalities.

The administrative community Reichling had submitted a proposal for an increase in fees.

This provided for an increase of between eight and 16 euros per month for regular children.

For a five-hour booking, for example, parents would have to pay 108 euros a month instead of the previous 100 euros.

With a nine-hour booking, it would be 156 euros (instead of 140 euros).

For daycare children, the fees should be raised more because of the higher care costs: With five hours of booking time, for example, parents would have to pay 216 euros a month according to the management proposal, which is 36 euros more than before.

Mayor Marco Dollinger pointed out that the fee increases are about tariff price adjustments.

The tariff increases would thus be passed on to the parents to a certain extent.

The mayor reminded the parents that they would also receive a state subsidy for the kindergarten fees.

"Our kindergarten has an excellent reputation," said the community leader.

"A lot of parents from abroad call us and want to place their children with us." Of course, preference is given to children from Kinsau.

If there are still places left, these can be occupied by non-resident children.

The daycare and kindergarten fees would also be increased in the other municipalities of the Reichling administrative community, Dollinger added.

After all, communities within the VG did not want to “compete” with each other.

There were no objections from the municipal council to the proposed increase, and the committee unanimously approved the new fee schedule.

In the future, parents in Kinsau will have to dig deeper into their pockets, and not only for the care of children in crèches and kindergartens.

The municipal council also raised the fees for holiday care for school children at the meeting.

For example, a two-hour booking will cost 55 euros instead of the previous 50 euros, and for nine hours the fee will even increase from 150 euros to 180 euros.

As far as school child care is concerned, the municipal council has limited itself to increasing the fees for supervision during the holiday periods.

After-school care for school children will continue to cost 50 euros per month (for a two-hour booking), 75 euros (for three hours of booking time) or 100 euros (for four hours).
