Navigating through the menus is child's play.
In an effort to simplify, engineers have removed 33 physical buttons (45), but the instrument cluster is still disturbed by a multitude of icons and managing its favorite functions on the head-up display via the captive buttons on the steering wheel requires a certain habit.
The new NX is still a keen eye for detail: multi-contour seats, satisfactory rear space and headroom, an electronic button in place of the handle, a large central armrest.
Nearly 70 km in electric
Progress is finally measured on the road.
The NX is the first Lexus plug-in hybrid.
The technology comes from the Toyota Rav4.
Its 18.1 kWh battery allowed us to cover 68 km on electric.
Lexus advertises up to 98 km in the city.
