Emmanuel Macron remains at the top of the voting intentions in the first round of the presidential election with 24% of voting intentions, ahead of Marine Le Pen (17.5%), Eric Zemmour (14.5%) and finally Valérie Pécresse (13, 5%) according to a BVA survey for RTL published on Friday.

The LR candidate Valérie Pécresse is again given in decline, in fourth position in the first round of the presidential election, behind Eric Zemmour and Marine Le Pen, who remain far behind Emmanuel Macron, still not declared candidate, according to a BVA poll for RTL published Friday February 17.

The curves intersect between Valérie Pécresse (13.5%) and Eric Zemmour (14.5%), confirming a loss of momentum for the candidate from the right, after a complicated month of January and a meeting in Paris on Sunday where she is appeared uncomfortable in the exercise.

Ahead of them, Marine Le Pen (RN) consolidates her position as Emmanuel Macron's main rival, collecting 17.5% of voting intentions.

The Head of State, who has still not declared himself a candidate, two weeks before the deadline for sponsorship deposits, retains a good lead in the first round with 24%.

On the left, the LFI candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon (10.5%) and the communist Fabien Roussel (4.5%) are doing well, the latter now neck and neck with the ecologist Yannick Jadot ( 4.5%), and just ahead of Christiane Taubira (4%) and socialist Anne Hidalgo (2%).

None of them can, at this stage, claim the second round, according to this poll.

In the second round, Emmanuel Macron would win in all the configurations tested by the BVA institute: against Marine Le Pen (56%-44%), Valérie Pécresse (56%-44%) and Eric Zemmour (63%-37 %).

Survey carried out from February 15 to 16 among 1,500 people registered on the electoral lists, from a representative sample of 1,651 French people aged 18 and over, according to the quota method.

The voting intentions shown in this survey are based on people registered on the electoral lists, certain of going to vote and having expressed an intention to vote.

Margin of error from 1.4 to 3.3 points.

Voting intentions do not constitute a forecast of the outcome of the ballot.

They give an indication of the balance of power and dynamics on the day of the survey.
