A victory for species preservation
This decree authorized the launch of work on the ZAC des Portes du Tarn, “
an industrial business park
” according to its supporters.
Associations and environmental activists, who have identified dozens of protected species on this site, fear that this seven-hectare warehouse will be rented to an e-commerce giant like Amazon.
In February, activists had briefly blocked the site, and participated in various demonstrations opposing the project.
