There was a car accident at an intersection in Nuremberg's Langwasser district.
Both drivers claim to have passed a green traffic light.
Nuremberg – According to the police headquarters in Central Franconia*, a traffic accident occurred on Thursday evening (February 17) in the Langwasser district of Nuremberg.
There was a serious collision between two cars at an intersection on Breslauer Straße.
Accident in Nuremberg: One injured person
At around 5:45 p.m., a BMW drove on Breslauer Strasse in the direction of Langwasserbad.
At the same time, an Audi driver was traveling on the same street in the direction of Regensburg* Straße.
At the intersection with Oesler Strasse, the two got in each other's way and a collision could no longer be avoided.
It was quickly determined that the Audi driver was fortunately only slightly injured.
The cars looked very different.
According to the police headquarters, significant property damage was found.

Nuremberg police are looking for witnesses
The search for the cause of the accident could turn out to be very difficult for the police.
Both drivers are adamant that the light was green when they drove.
In order to solve this question, the Nuremberg Traffic Police Inspectorate has launched an appeal for witnesses.
