"Stay alive": weather expert Jörg Kachelmann warns with dramatic words before the hurricane weekend

Weather expert Jörg Kachelmann warns on Twitter of the hurricane low.
He doesn't mince his words.
Munich - Jörg Kachelmann is in his element during the hurricane "Zeynep" - no question.

The 63-year-old summed up the forthcoming storm situation in a straightforward and unequivocal manner.
Its prognosis and warnings have a style of their own.
The moderator is happy to share.

"To write clickbait, exaggeration and nonsense about natural events" - that was his all-round response to the hurricane "Sabine" (2020).
Before this storm, Kachelmann addressed his followers with drastic words.
And they probably read completely differently than any warning from the German Weather Service (DWD).

The weather expert urges against underestimating the storm.
"Remember though, you're not invulnerable.
Not even in a car.
A falling tree will always properly kill you when it hits you.
If you don't care, think of people who might care," Jörg Kachelmann tweeted.
And then: “Think of those who have to scrape their mud pear off the road with a scraper.
There is always a safe way, even if it is a detour.”
Kachelmann also explains what makes the storm particularly dangerous: “Aggravating problem: In contrast to conventional storms, the whole thing lasts for a very, very long time.
That's why there will be a lot of damage, because things and trees get tired, because it never stops."

In the tweet, the weather expert gives advice: "You have to be away from everything that can fly on your head or car .... to survive safely." Anyone traveling by train on Friday evening should expect to be stranded and take food and drink with you.
Kachelmann also lists which region this affects: Lower Saxony, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
