Actress Linsey Pearlman, who was reported missing Wednesday, has been found dead in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) announced in a news release.
Officers responded to a call for a death investigation in Hollywood on Friday morning around 8:30 a.m. local time, according to the release.
Police said the actress was last seen on Sunday, before her friends and family enlisted the public's help in finding her.
The police received a piece of information that was essential to find the 6-year-old girl who disappeared in 2019 and was found under a staircase
"Pearlman was unable to return home and has not been seen or heard from since," the LAPD said in a news release Wednesday.
Pearlman, 43, was known for her roles in "General Hospital," "American Housewife" and "Chicago Justice," and also played "Diane Warren" on the Netflix series "Selena."

The cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
