Attention environmentalists: Regensburg will be awarding its environmental prize again in 2022

The city of Regensburg is again awarding its environmental prize this year.

Climate change is real - action must be taken.

Those who do so will be awarded the Environment Prize 2022 by the city of Regensburg – provided they apply in good time.

Regensburg – In 2022, the city of Regensburg* will again award prizes to those who have made special achievements in environmental, nature and climate protection.

This could be, for example, that citizens have designed their garden or balcony to be insect-friendly, avoided unnecessary waste or implemented measures that served to keep the air clean and biodiversity.

Environmentalists in Regensburg: You need these criteria for an application 

Anyone who sets an example for others by supporting ecological projects can apply.

They must also be resident in Regensburg*, or the projects must have an impact on the city of Regensburg.

The city wrote in a press release.

In addition, schools, kindergartens or clubs as well as companies based in Regensburg can apply.  

Regensburg: Send application documents to the mayor's office by April 30th 

Anyone who would like to apply or suggest someone else should send their documents to the office of Mayor Ludwig Artinger by April 30, 2022 and include the keyword "Environmental Prize" - PO Box 11 06 43 and 93019 Regensburg.
