– Large flood events are possible at any time, even if technical flood protection is in place.
Stefan Homilius announced this to the Taufkirchen municipal council.
Floods have been a major issue since August 2021 at the latest.
The responsible department head in the water management office for the district of Erding presented the councilors with the flood risk management (HWRM) of the authority.

Flash floods are not included in the HWRM.
