Russian media reported that a shell hit a house in the Rostov region on the border between the two countries • President Zlansky: "Defend our land - with or without help" • Ukrainian Foreign Minister: "Prepare for any scenario"

In the shadow of rising tensions on the Ukrainian border, Russian media reported today (Saturday) that a shell had hit a farm house in the Rostov region near the border.

The report comes after in recent days the US administration claimed that Russia intends to falsify a pretext for an invasion that would include a violent incident in which it would blame Kiev.

At the same time, Ukrainian President Zalansky said tonight at the Munich Security Conference: "We are ready to defend our land - with or without the help of our allies."

President Zalansky this evening attacked European countries for their reaction to Russia, saying that "the security infrastructure in the world and in Europe is almost completely destroyed. The war is not only on Ukraine but on the future of Europe and I hope no one thinks of Ukraine as a buffer zone between the West and Russia."

Zalansky has repeatedly called on Russian President Putin to talk to him to find a solution to the crisis.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kolba told the conference that Kiev was preparing for any scenario in the development of the situation around Ukraine, in response to a journalist's question about a possible Russian invasion.

Meanwhile, Germany and France today called on their citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible for fear of an escalation in the country in the face of the threat of Russian invasion.

The German airline Lufthansa, one of the largest airlines in the world, has also announced that it is suspending all its flights to the country from this coming Monday, February 21st until the end of the month.

Earlier today, Russian media reported a shell that hit a residential building on a farm in the village of Mityakinsky in the Rostov region on the border with Ukraine.

There were no casualties, but the roof of the house was damaged.

A few days ago, Russia submitted documents to the Security Council accusing Ukraine of crimes against pro-Russian separatists in Luhansk and Donetsk.

In a few days Blinkan warned the Security Council that Russia intends to falsify a pretext for a violent incursion that would accuse Ukraine of a fake UAV attack on a civilian target, allegations of finding a mass grave or even a real chemical weapons attack that Russia would present as ethnic cleansing against Kiev. He stressed that Moscow was already preparing the ground for such a provocation, and that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had warned of a "staged provocation" of further civilian targets along the front.

At the same time, Russia today began its annual strategic exercise with ballistic and hyper-sonic missiles, which are also capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.

According to the announcement, all the missiles hit their targets and also showed performance as expected of them.

The exercise included the use of Tu-95 bombers and submarines powered by nuclear energy.

The Russian media published a picture of Putin watching exercises from the control center, and in addition, videos of the hyper-sonic Kinzhal missile and the launch of an RS-24 Yar intercontinental missile were published.
