The National Migration Institute (INM) announced this Friday that the two journalists of Cuban nationality who entered Mexico "irregularly" will not be deported from the country.
Héctor Valdés and Esteban Rodríguez, according to the statement published by the entity, "already have a visitor's card for humanitarian reasons issued by the INM."
The document adds that both Cubans submitted a refugee application to the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance (Comar).
