Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi stressed the necessity of lifting all embargo measures imposed on his country and providing it with clear guarantees as a prelude to reaching an agreement in the current nuclear negotiations in Vienna.
During a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron today, Raisi said that Iran had presented constructive proposals during the Vienna negotiations, while the proposals put forward by the other parties were being studied to find out their compatibility with the interests of the Iranian people.
Raisi explained that the Iranian delegation in Vienna has repeatedly announced that it welcomes the initiatives that guarantee and protect the rights of the Iranian people, stressing that political pressures and allegations that are raised with the aim of maintaining pressure on Iran would undermine the prospects for reaching an agreement.
The Iranian president pointed out that Iran's record of dealing with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the numerous IAEA reports that confirm the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities prove the falsehood of some Western countries' allegations. Careful connection to fascinate enemies.
In turn, Macron saw that good progress had been made in the Vienna negotiations, expressing his hope that the negotiations would be concluded as soon as possible without the process being affected by political pressures.
During the past two days, direct and indirect statements were circulated, quoting European diplomats present at the Vienna talks, about completing work on a draft agreement or announcing a final agreement this week, but these statements are nothing but speculation, according to the Iranian side.
