Washington-Sana

As Western countries, led by the United States, continue to ignore repeated calls to stop supporting and covering the ongoing crimes of terrorist organizations spread in northern Syria under the name (moderate opposition) under Turkish sponsorship, the journalist in the American magazine (Foreign Policy), Anshal Fuhra, called on Washington to adopt a new policy regarding its position. of terrorists due to the increased dangers arising from their gathering in Idlib and its transformation into the capital of global terrorism.

In her analytical article entitled (Idlib.. The New Capital of Global Terrorism), Fuhra, an expert on Middle Eastern issues, pointed out that Idlib has become, thanks to Western policies, the new capital of global terrorism, and that the organizations listed on terrorist lists see it as a safe haven and their preferred option to hide.

The journalist pointed out that the leader of the terrorist organization (ISIS), Abu Ibrahim al-Quraishi, who was recently killed, sought refuge in Idlib near a checkpoint of the al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front and near the Turkish border, and before him his predecessor Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who was killed The year 2019 in a nearby region confirms its “transformation into a capital of global terrorism and an international problem that requires a solution.”

Observers and observers affirm that the only solution is for the West and Washington to immediately stop supporting all terrorist organizations and restore Idlib to the authority of the Syrian state, stressing that Idlib’s transformation into a haven for world terrorists came as a result of the previous policies of Washington and the Turkish regime, especially that the leader of the terrorist organization (ISIS) al-Qurayshi, who was killed at the beginning of the month Al-Jari was living in a point not far from a military post belonging to the Erdogan regime.

Fuhra referred to the attempts of the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra, which changed its name to (Hayat Tahrir al-Sham), to obtain recognition from the international community, indicating that it is better for the United States in this context to develop a new strategy and direct its calculations towards the next solution against this terrorist organization, which analysts and observers confirm. He is a hidden partner of Washington.

Fuhra recalled what James Jeffrey, the special envoy to Syria during the era of former US President Donald Trump had revealed about the use of the terrorist organization (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) by US politicians as a tool to pressure Syria and opening channels of communication with him, indicating that the Joe Biden administration acknowledged that some of the previous goals of the US The United States, including the overthrow of the Syrian state, is now unrealistic.

Although it indicated the ambiguity surrounding the current US administration's policy regarding the terrorist organization (Hayat Tahrir al-Sham), it indicated that the possibility of recognition, which the extremist organization longs for, has been delayed indefinitely with the transformation of northwestern Syria into a haven for terrorists from (Al-Qaeda) and (ISIS). ) under direct Turkish leadership and supervision.

It is no secret to anyone that everything that is happening in the areas controlled by the terrorists in Idlib is under direct support and coordination from the Turkish regime, which is confirmed by the journalist by pointing out that Washington left the Turkish regime to lead all the terrorist organizations there and that this regime coordinates and cooperates with (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) ).

At the conclusion of her article, Vohra said that the United States at the current stage “is not yet sure what its priorities are” with regard to terrorist organizations in northwest Syria, stressing at the same time that this solution is not for the American occupation forces to remain in Syria.
