A man, apparently Der Rehov, attacked a 29-year-old girl in Tel Aviv yesterday.

The woman, Talia, the mother of a ten-year-old girl, said she came to town to visit a friend who lives on Yedidya Frenkel Street.

When they left the supermarket, the man approached them, and without any conversation between them, broke a beer bottle on her head, ripped her sweater from her and smashed her phone on the floor.

She was then evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital.

"I'm a little confused and it's not easy for me from the shock," she admitted in a conversation with Walla !.

"It's hard for me mentally. I came from Jerusalem to my friend who lived on a street near where it happened. We came back from the sea, sat in a cafe and it was calm. After an hour we went into AM: PM and left with bags in hand. It all happened in 10-5 seconds. I get out I catch someone behind me shouting meters away from me. I could not respond and my reflex was to push my girlfriend to the side. He grabbed me with one hand in the hair and with the other hand broke a glass bottle on me. He grabbed me from the sweater, I managed to get out of it and he took it, "He also took my phone and broke it on the floor with insane violence. He shouted at my girlfriend like crazy, 'Come here.'"

She said, "People came and caught him and called the police. I had blood all over my neck and back, the pictures do not show everything. I shudder when I talk about it. The ambulance came and evacuated me. The police caught him and told me to file a complaint. We went to the station and filed a complaint. "By the time he reached us, he was already kicking a motorcycle and a cat. Everyone says he sells and this is a recurring phenomenon, probably until someone dies."

This is not the only case of violence that has recently occurred in the Florentine neighborhood without warning or prior acquaintance.

Another young woman, Yael, said that about three weeks ago she was also attacked on Wolfson Street, near Yedidya Frenkel.

"A guy gave me a bomb in the face. I filed a complaint but they did nothing with it and did not even get back to me."

Last month, an indictment was filed against a 26-year-old man from Jerusalem who beat women and girls throughout Tel Aviv in five different cases.

Hours after his arrest on December 25, another man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting women in Tel Aviv.
