The committee will also include former Governor of the Bank of Israel, Prof. Karnit Flug;

Maj. Gen. (Res.) Avraham Ben-Shoshan (former commander of the Navy), and Prof. Yaakov (Kobi) Bortman, Brigadier General (Res.) Who served in the IDF as head of the Air Force's equipment division.
As you may recall, last month the cabinet ministers approved the establishment of a state commission of inquiry into the submarine affair.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett abstained and Minister Ayelet Shaked was the only one to oppose.
Minister Zeev Elkin surprised and supported after receiving a promise that the professional echelon would also be examined, and Ministers Matan Kahana, Yair Lapid and Bnei Gantz voted in favor.
Defense Minister Bnei Gantz, the initiator of the commission of inquiry, congratulated the Munich Security Conference: "I wish great success to the retired Supreme Court President, Honorable Justice Asher Grunis, who has been elected to chair the Submarine and Vessel Research Committee. I am confident he will lead the truth and strengthening security system."
