Lieberman: It's not a problem that I drank coffee in a conversation with the independents, it's a discussion that is all populism
In an interview with 103FM, the finance minister said he "does not understand the hustle and bustle" surrounding criticism of his conduct in a discussion in the economics committee.
Regarding the tensions between Ukraine and Russia, Lieberman said that this was not Israel's concern, and regarding the nuclear agreement being formed in Vienna, he said: "We must be prepared to deal alone."

In the video: Lieberman presents the plan to the ultra-Orthodox sector (Government Press Office)
This morning (Sunday), Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman referred in an interview with 103FM to a discussion held last week in the Knesset's Economics Committee, and to criticism that he drank coffee in front of the leaders of the Tzameret Avivi independence protest.
"I really do not understand the hustle and bustle," he said.
"I sit on the committee for three hours in a discussion full of populism and cynicism. None of the Knesset members talked about business and the independent. After three hours you can naturally not sit without a sip of coffee. I listened intently. I talk about data and numbers, "They have been harmed. We need to help them. But the Israeli economy is growing. I do not examine kidneys, I do not have to give my assessment. I examine the whole business world, and we will help everyone who is harmed."
He went on to address tensions between Ukraine and Russia, saying it was not Israel's business.
"There is involvement of all the superpowers, which does not exaggerate our self-importance," he said.
"The smartest thing to do is to keep a low profile. What should interest us is not Ukraine, but Vienna. We should not give estimates when no one has asked us. It is not really what should bother us, there are much more burning things."

As for reports from Vienna on the new nuclear agreement between Iran and the superpowers he said that "as it seems at least in the media, there is really a disturbing and alarming development. Iran will receive huge sums of money that are currently frozen, and we will feel it all within our border The Iranian problem, and no one will do it for us. What will be done? In general, we need to be prepared and able to deal alone. I do not know what will be done, but certainly we need to be prepared and do everything we are committed to do. The less we talk about it in the media "It will be healthier."
He was then asked about the remarks of a member of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Emily Moati, who hinted at a "Shabbat Tarbut" event about an imminent prisoner deal. Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
As long as such a thing does not close it is simply completely unnecessary.
The very act of engaging in these things in public does not contribute to advancing those matters. "
