Musical, opera and concert: Helmut Schranner is planning three musical highlights in spring

Once he even performed in the Deutsches Theater.

Thoroughbred musician Helmut Schranner from Nandlstadt is also looking forward to three major events to take place in the coming weeks.
"Three wishes free XL" in the Deutsches Theater
On March 5, the cabaret musical "Three Wishes Free XL - Hopfen meets Musical" by Tom Bauer will be shown in the Deutsches Theater in Munich.
The visitors are taken back to the year 1516 - the year in which the Bavarian Purity Law was passed.
On stage, however, things are by no means deadly serious, but rather humorous and offbeat.
Ten roles, played and sung by just three people - and Bavarian brass band music.
Helmut Schranner and his Holledauer Musikanten are responsible for the latter.
With tuba, saxophone, trumpet, bass trumpet and bells, it will be "really hearty", as he reveals.
Schranner and three of his fellow musicians perform the pieces that have been specially arranged for the Deutsches Theater.
"Not only does it sound good, it's also really funny," he reveals.
The Bavarian musical, which has had to be postponed twice due to the corona pandemic, is now to be shown on Saturday, March 5th, at 8 p.m. (admission: 7 p.m.) in the Deutsches Theater.

Departure by bus is as follows: 5.45 p.m. in Rudelzhausen (Grüner), 6 p.m. in Nandlstadt (school), 6.15 p.m. in Attenkirchen (bus stop) and at 6.30 p.m. in Freising (railway station).

"Opera white-blue" in the Nandlstadt Hopfenhalle
Mezzo-soprano Franziska Rabl and the Holledauer Musikanten, conducted by Helmut Schranner, present a completely new genre of music with the "Opera white-blue", which will be performed on Sunday, May 1st at 3 p.m. in the Hopfenhalle in Nandlstadt.
In this show, the evergreens of opera sound completely new - among other things, operatic instruments such as alphorn, cowbells and wooden spoons are used.
The pieces specially arranged for this come from Peter Wittrich, freelance composer and professor at the Munich University of Music.
"Brass music mixed with opera" - according to Schranner, this will be a special highlight.
Spring concert by youth brass band and Auer Voices
And Helmut Schranner is also looking forward to the third concert: On Saturday, May 14, a spring concert is to be performed in the Hopfenhalle - by the youth brass band of the Musikverein Nandlstadt and the Auer Voices.
The latter have been a member of the Musikverein Nandlstadt since January and are celebrating their tenth anniversary this summer.
