The 71st NBA All-Star Game can be seen in Latin American countries through the Star+ and ESPN streaming platform.

From legendary draft picks to a Grammy Award-winning musical lineup, preparation for the 71st NBA All-Star Game has reached a fever pitch.

The game, which will air live this Sunday in the United States on TNT at 8 pm (Miami time), will see LeBron James and Kevin Durant square off at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

While in Latin American countries it can be seen through Star + and ESPN at 7 pm Mexico time, 8 pm Colombia time and 10 pm Argentina and Chile.

This is the second season in a row that Team Lebron and Team Durant will go head-to-head.

The countdown

Since Friday night, fans have been treated to a number of events, including Saturday's star-studded performance by DJ Khaled and friends.

At 12:00 noon ET on Sunday, the NBA Legends Awards aired live on NBA TV.

Then, at 2 pm ET, fans were treated to the NBA G League Next Gem Game, which the league describes as "a showcase of the bright young stars of tomorrow."

G League Ignite will play the Cleveland Charge.

That was also broadcast on NBA TV.

Finally, at 8 pm (Miami time), captains LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets will compete with their high-powered rosters to raise money for their chosen beneficiaries.

For Team LeBron, it's the Kent State iPromise Scholars Program, which provides higher education opportunities for the underserved in Northeast Ohio.

Team Durant will fight for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, a member of Feeding America.

In keeping with the format of the NBA All-Star Game, teams will compete to win every quarter hour for their chosen organizations, with a total of $750,000 in contributions.

Who's playing?

Captain LeBron selected the team's starters to be Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.

Captain Durant has drafted starters Joel Embiid from the Philadelphia 76ers, Ja Morant from the Memphis Grizzlies, Jayson Tatum from the Boston Celtics, Andrew Wiggins from the Golden State Warriors and Trae Young from the Atlanta Hawks.

Each team has eight other players in reserve.

Before kickoff, Ohio's Machine Gun Kelly and DJ D-Nice will introduce this year's NBA All-Stars.

Grammy Award-winning singer Macy Gray, also a native of Ohio, will sing the national anthem.

Next, Juno Award-nominated and platinum-selling artist Ryland James will perform Canada's national anthem.

During halftime, the NBA will honor its 75th anniversary team.

Several stars, including Usher, Spike Lee and Tiffany Haddish, as well as Emmy Award nominee Anthony Anderson, will act as narrators.

The NBA says it will take fans on a journey through the league's first 75 years and highlight themes that have long defined the NBA, such as inclusion and competition.

Earth, Wind & Fire will perform at halftime.

All events will air live at 8 pm ET on TNT and TBS and in 215 countries and territories.
