There are only two weeks left for the candidates to obtain their 500 signatures from elected officials, from at least thirty departments.
For some candidates, the account is far from good.
If Éric Zemmour currently has 291 signatures validated by the Constitutional Council, he raises the possibility that he will not be able to collect 500. At the microphone of Europe 1 this Sunday morning, the candidate of Reconquest!
asserts that he has "
no certainty
" about his participation in the presidential election, recalling that "
it's very hard
".
The suitor notably canceled a trip to Reunion last week to focus on this issue.

” of possible repercussions if they grant him their signature.
The candidate castigates a 2016 law that made the sponsorship of candidates public, although these were previously displayed inside the Constitutional Council, from the 1988 election.

In 2017, approximately 34% of elected officials able to do so gave their sponsorship to a candidate.
Currently, six suitors have already gathered these precious signatures: Valérie Pécresse, Emmanuel Macron, Anne Hidalgo, Nathalie Arthaud, Fabien Roussel and Jean Lassalle.
In addition to Éric Zemmour, two other aspirants to the Élysée, also credited with more than 10% of the vote, are currently in difficulty: Marine Le Pen has only 366 signatures and Jean-Luc Mélenchon has moment only got 370.
