Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stressed today that the West is evading dialogue with Moscow on the principle of the indivisibility of security.
"Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sent dozens of messages to his counterparts in various Western countries about the principle of indivisibility of security, but he received only two short messages about nothing," the Russian TASS news agency quoted Ryabkov as saying in a television interview.
"This is the current level of performance in the European Union and NATO," Ryabkov added, describing the two short answers Lavrov received from the United States and NATO as "formal in their content."
On the 28th of last January, Lavrov sent a message to his counterparts in a number of European countries, the United States and Canada regarding the indivisibility of security, pointing out that Moscow was waiting for answers from these countries at the national level, not a collective response.
