Head of Hezbollah's Executive Council, Hashem Safi El-Din, confirmed that the United States is trying to thwart any solution in Lebanon and is pressuring the Lebanese to prevent them from building their economy to serve the Israeli occupation entity.
Safi El-Din said in a speech during a meeting of the working committees in educational institutions in southern Lebanon today, “We have no choice but to rely on ourselves to rebuild a new, strong, independent Lebanon that preserves its sovereignty and wealth and preserves its present and future for future generations.”
Safi al-Din praised the resistance's steadfastness and readiness to build a new future for Lebanon, as it is a popular, political, military, cultural and social resistance, and it presented important and pioneering models in all fields.
