The Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced the dismantling of a terrorist cell consisting of 11 members in the Jendouba governorate in the northwest of the country.
The Tunisian newspaper Al-Shorouk quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that "the security units in Jendouba raided a den of terrorists who were preparing themselves to attack the security men in the state," noting that they will be referred to the competent judiciary after completing investigations with them.
On the fifth of this month, Tunisian security arrested a terrorist cell consisting of four people who are active on social media and have relations with foreign elements.
The Tunisian forces have been conducting campaigns for several years to track down terrorist groups belonging to cells affiliated with the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
