It was a turbulent Saturday night, in Milan, already at the center of controversy due to the violence of the last New Year and with some areas of the nightlife that continue to be the scene of quarrels, assaults, fights and robberies so as to arouse political controversy again.
Between Saturday and Sunday there were five stabbings that had children, including minors, as victims and protagonists.
The first investigations by the Carabinieri ascertained that, at least for the three most serious episodes, the attackers were in groups and of North African origin.
At the moment, however, there are no elements that suggest the action of a single band.
In the first case, a 20-year-old was attacked around 3.30 in via Fratelli Castiglioni, on the edge of what is called 'the new center of Milan', Piazza Gae Aulenti,
and then hit with a stab in the right leg.
Hospitalized in red code, his condition has improved.
At the same time, an 18-year-old was rescued from a superficial stab wound in Piazza Gae Aulenti.
The third serious episode took place in Corso Como, the heart of the Milanese nightlife, around 4.45 am, where a 19-year-old was surrounded at the exit from the nightclub and hit by stab wounds in the chest and right arm, fortunately without any vital organs being damaged. .
Another stabbing in viale Pasubio at 5.20, still in the 'Garibaldi' area, when a 15-year-old was surrounded by a group of North Africans who hit him with a slash in the buttock to rob him.
Finally, a fifth attack, still in the same area but without knives, took place at 3.30 in via De Tocqueville,
street of clubs and discos, with a 21-year-old who reported an eye irritation, presumably from stinging spray.
In Piazza Duca D'Aosta at 1.30 am, however, there was a fight between foreigners, with a 33-year-old North African hit by a knife.
