“I tested positive abroad, how do I register my certificate in TousAntiCovid?”

2022-02-21T05:45:55.831Z

LE FIGARO ANSWERS YOU - Some of our readers want to extend the validity of their vaccination pass with their positive test carried out abroad. But very often, this turns out to be impossible.

Hello, I tested positive in Morocco at the end of January 2022 but I cannot obtain the certificate of recovery by scanning the "QR code Morocco" in the TousAntiCovid application.

Thank you for your help.

Rashid

Hello, I was positive for the PCR test in Chile and I would like to tell TousAntiCovid about it to have a valid health pass.

How can I do ?

Julian

Dear readers,

You will probably not be able to enter the result of your PCR test in TousAntiCovid.

To date, only certificates from 33 countries and territories outside the European Union can be added in the application, and Chile is not included in the list.

Tests carried out in Morocco can normally be recognized by the application.

As confirmed by the General Directorate of Health in

Figaro

, you must open the "scan" icon at the top right of the application, then scan the QR Code present on your test.

If you have received two injections of the vaccine, the validity of your vaccination pass will then be extended indefinitely in France, as if you had taken a booster dose.

However, the code on the document issued by the laboratory may not be in the correct format.

In this case, you will not be able to enter the test in the TousAntiCovid application (like the example of Julien in Chile).

Don't panic, you should still be able to use your positive PCR test to return to France.

“In the event that the visitor comes from a country that does not provide a certificate in European format, non-certified proof (in paper or digital format) is tolerated when crossing borders and must be verified in a French translation or in English

”, specifies the DGS.

Please note that your certificate will not allow you to access places where access is reserved for the vaccination pass in France.

For this, you will need to do a booster dose without delay, as indicated by the DGS:

“If the test was carried out abroad and the country concerned does not generate an EU digital COVID certificate, the person will have to do a booster dose, which will give him a pass valid for 7 days after his

injection
