The city of Jenin in the West Bank witnessed a solidarity stand in support of the Palestinian prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons and to demand the handing over of the bodies of the martyrs held by it.
According to Wafa Agency, the Palestinians participating in the sit-down organized by the Palestinian prisoners’ institutions and national forces called on the international community to urgently intervene to release the prisoner Abu Hamid, who is at risk of death due to the deterioration of his health, and to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs held by the occupation in flagrant violation of international conventions and covenants.
The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission warned earlier today of the deterioration of the health condition of the prisoner, Muhammad Al-Tus, as a result of the Israeli occupation authorities' deliberate failure to provide him with the necessary treatment.
