Minister Sabbagh, during a tour of Khan al-Zajjaj for traditional industries in Bab Sharqi in Damascus, expressed his readiness to secure the requirements for training courses to teach crafts and transfer them to the younger generation from halls and supplies at the Ministry's Vocational Training Center in Damascus, in order to preserve its civilized Syrian identity, as these crafts, which are characterized by accuracy and quality, have withstood the The modern instrument is thanks to the efforts of the Kar sheikhs who made great efforts to preserve its Syrian identity and spread it globally.
Head of the Craft Association for Traditional Oriental Products, Fouad Arbash, indicated that the association is working today to restore the brilliance of crafts, operate all craft workshops and train the young generation for its continuity and development.
In turn, the Director of the Training Activity at the Craftsman Association for Traditional Oriental Products, Johnny Gharbyan, pointed out that the association's work is currently focused on teaching crafts with professionalism and high mastery, and not just informative courses through a theoretical and practical curriculum for long periods, after which young people can enter the labor market after possessing the necessary skills.
