Street Fighter 6 Teaser (Capcom)
While the trailer does not show us the gameplay, it does show us the characters of Rio and Locke preparing for battle, revealing to us that the new style of play tends to be less painted and a little more "realistic" style (as much as possible).
Capcom said it will update and reveal more details over the coming summer.
Although the fifth title in the series was very popular and successful, its launch was considered problematic and quite a few players complained about bugs and problems on the game servers.
Hopefully the new game in the series will get a smoother launch.
The Street Fighter series is considered one of the most popular and oldest hit game series, and it wins a devout community of players and even a competitive sports scene with the Capcom Pro Tour, the series' official sports league.
In the same breath, Capcom also announced the
Capcom Fighting Collection
- a collection of ten iconic and classic beating games like the five games in the Darkstalkers series, and games like Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, Red Earth, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix (Pocket Fighter), Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.
Beyond playing with friends on the couch, players will also be able to enjoy the new collection of online game options in front of contestants from around the world.
The collection will be released on June 25 this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
