Sau Mau Ping had a car accident.
At about 2 a.m., it was reported that a seven-passenger vehicle was driving along On Xiu Road towards Bao Da Village. When it was near On Tai Village, it suddenly lost control and crashed into the rear of a truck parked on the side of the road.
The driver of the seven-person car was injured and trapped in the car. The fire department rescued the injured driver at the scene and was sent to the hospital by ambulance. The injured person was awake when rescued, and it is reported that he suffered chest injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident, which was raining at the time; the driver involved was tested and confirmed that he was not drinking or taking drugs.
Affected by the accident, the two lanes from On Xiu Road to Po Tat Village were completely closed. The police temporarily closed the intersection where New Clear Water Bay Road turned into On Xiu Road for rescue.
