Saar's experience and efficiency overcame the national agenda Israel today

The process of electing judges to the Supreme Court reflects the national-political figure of Justice Minister Gideon Saar.

As in his previous positions as Minister of Education and Minister of the Interior, Saar has once again demonstrated a rather impressive executive ability in managing the complex procedure.

Had to quarter a circle with clear leftists in the committee, the positions of President Esther Hayut and her power within the committee, and the satisfaction of some of his commitments as a seemingly right-wing man.

Saar knew how to advance the process effectively and bring it to the finish line.

It is not easy.

Anyone who remembers Tzipi Livni's dysfunction when she was in office with then-President Aharon Barak, understands what this is all about.

Livni was unable to negotiate purposefully and make compromises, and the result was that the appointment process was stuck.

But while proving the ability of an experienced and efficient committee mouse, Saar has positioned himself to the left and prevented the possibility of appointing three conservatively conservative judges in the current round instead of two who have doubts about their conservative kosher status.

In his decision to prevent a right-wing government, Saar actually made a compromise in favor of the justice system.

He gave up a national Zionist agenda in favor of the self-existent interest of the judiciary over the electorate in the country, whose priority was the right-wing government.

Despite his attacks on MKs Dudi Amsalem and Benjamin Netanyahu in one card, it was actually Amsalem who won attention. Amsalem is not here on the standard of Hannah Bavli's heir.

What is the position on the right of standing?

Saar and his friends on the right managed first and foremost to prevent the nightmare of the right-wing voters, and that is the appointment of Yigal Marzel.

He was the chief candidate of the judiciary and presidential beasts at its head;

If he were elected, he would automatically become president of the court in the senior process, and as such he is defined as "Aaron Barak on Turbo" in the degree of his activism.

In his place, Hayut insisted on Ruth Ronen, and the hope of the right-wing representatives in the committee that it would be possible to make a deal that would also prevent her appointment - did not materialize.

As for Gila Kanfei-Steinitz, even the right-wingers, who are liberal for them, admit that at the professional level it is an excellent appointment.

But what, they argue, whoever starts from its starting point - quickly reaches judicial activism.

When Interior Minister Shaked said yesterday, "I'm sure at least two of them are on the right side," she probably also meant Judge Steinitz.

Shaked's criterion is twofold: the judges' positions regarding the Citizenship Law and petitions for the demolition of terrorist homes.

She probably also considers Yechiel Kosher to be on the "right side."

But a critical issue about which the public knows nothing in terms of the judges' view is the right of standing.

MK Amsalem harshly criticized the Supreme Court for this.

It was rolled out of all the stairs in a legitimate petition, while redheads climbed the stairs freely to do politics in the hall.
