Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton this evening (Monday) approved the expansion of the matriculation exams in the coming summer.

The new facilitations will join those given about a month ago, including the targets given at the beginning of the year.

The new facilitations will include a sweeping extra time for all students in all subjects.

The extra time will be at a rate of 15%, with students with individual accommodations receiving the supplement beyond that approved for them in the accommodations.

As part of the adjustments in the mathematics subject, a student at the level of three study units will be able to reach a score of 112 points.

The relief will be done in questionnaire 35382. In the meantime, the value of each question will be increased from 25 points to 28 points, with the maximum score being 100 points.

Students at the four-five unit level will have free choice of questions in questionnaires 35481 and 35581. They will be able to choose five questions from all the questions on the exam, without any restriction.

In addition, additional subjects will be reduced at all levels of study.

For students in five units, in questionnaire 35581 the subject of the series - an invoice series will be dropped, and in questionnaire 35582 vectors will be dropped - space triggers, presentation units, distance between intersecting lines, growth and decay problems, exponential and logarithmic functions - non-e basis in the mentioned functions.

For four-unit students, Questionnaire 35481 will drop the topic of HADO - Geometric Extreme Problems (Extreme Problems Remaining with Graphs Including Geometric Shapes). Space - a triangular and straight prism, growth and decay problems, exponential and logarithmic functions - a basis that is not e in the mentioned functions.

For students in three study units, in questionnaire 35381 a question involving two parabolas will be dropped and in questionnaire 35382 the topic of education will decrease - geometric extreme problems (extreme problems remain with graphs including geometric shapes)
