3 IRS employees suspected of fraud of millions: "Enter false data in systems"
Following an undercover investigation that lasted months, three employees of an Assessing Officer in the North and another person were arrested.
According to the suspicion, they created a false representation of tax refunds for donations to hundreds of people.
The four are suspected of giving and receiving bribes, breach of trust and money laundering

Three employees of the Assessing Officer's office were arrested this morning (Tuesday), along with another person, on suspicion of fraud by the Tax Authority amounting to millions of shekels.
According to the suspicion, the three income tax employees entered false data in the tax systems and produced a false representation of tax refunds for donations to hundreds of people.
The arrest of the four came at the end of an investigation that lasted months, during which materials accumulated against the suspects, who allegedly acted together.
Today, they will be brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court for a hearing to clarify their detention.
Three other people were detained on suspicion of involvement in the affair.

The investigation was opened following a complaint received.
The investigation shows that this is a systematic activity that has continued over the past few years.
The other detainees and those involved in the affair are suspected of receiving anything fraudulently, giving bribes, taking bribes, brokering bribes, breach of trust, theft by a public employee, violations of the Income Tax Ordinance and money laundering.
