The CSU in the Ottobrunn municipal council also wants barrier-free and inclusive devices for children with disabilities.
Ottobrunn
– 60,000 euros are now available in the budget for the playgrounds in Ottobrunn, an increase of 30,000 euros.
The CSU factions had asked for an increase.
She made suggestions concerning the Bruneck playground, which were unanimously welcomed by the members of the main committee.
According to the CSU parliamentary group, the playground at Bruneck currently has hardly any offers for children and young people.
However, she sees a great need in this area surrounded by nature: In the immediate vicinity there is a densely populated residential area and schools, as Susanne Vordermaier explained to the main committee.
Barrier-free carousel
Important for the CSU parliamentary group: The playground should have a unique position, it should be equipped for the disabled - also accessible by public transport.
Vordermaier advocated the installation of a slushy sand table and a wooden see-saw.
A natural climbing, hanging and balancing landscape could also be created.
In addition, one wishes for barrier-free and inclusive play equipment.
Ottobrunn has not yet had any inclusive and barrier-free play equipment.
The location at Bruneck is ideal, as it is directly on a paved road, which has a barrier-free bus stop.
A handicapped parking space could also be designated directly on site.
Only the short access route from the footpath to the playground equipment had to be designed to be barrier-free in terms of surface and slope.
The CSU applied for an inclusive and barrier-free carousel for this location, which should have space for two wheelchairs and additional seating.
This ensures that children with and without disabilities can have fun together.
Vordermaier: "It would be an enrichment for Ottobrunn." The other committee members also saw it that way.
Now all that's left to do is plan.
