In the early evening, the 25-year-old from Unterallgäu, who was coming from Türkheim (exit Türkheimer Gymnasium), wanted to turn onto the MN10 district road in the direction of Wiedergeltingen.
The young man overlooked a 56-year-old who was traveling from Wiedergeltingen in the direction of the McDonald's roundabout and had the right of way.
The woman from Unterallgäu was no longer able to brake in time and cut the left turn, causing the two cars to collide in the junction area.
According to the police, both drivers were slightly injured in the traffic accident and were taken to nearby hospitals by the ambulance service.
In addition, the two cars suffered material damage of around 15,000 euros.
The BRK and the Türkheim and Wiedergeltingen fire brigades were on site with around 40 emergency services to rescue the injured and secure the accident site.
