Hostage incident in Amsterdam: An
armed man entered a Apple store in the city center today (Tuesday) and was holding a man who was at the scene with gun threats.
Outside the store, which is in the heart of Amsterdam, an increased police presence is felt.
The Dutch media is talking about a possible robbery.
A police spokesman updated on what was happening at the Apple store, but did not give further details.

"There is a man with a firearm in the store, police forces are there with a lot of units to take control of the situation," tweeted Amsterdam police.
The Apple Store is located in the prestigious Leidseplein Square, on the south side of the city center.
