If analyzed by 18 districts, Sham Shui Po district with more old buildings has become the hardest-hit area. A total of more than 500 buildings have been recruited. Among them, residents of more than 10 buildings in many public housing estates have been infected with the virus; There are also many private housing estates near Long MTR station, and many buildings have confirmed cases.


At present, the fifth wave of the epidemic has spread throughout Hong Kong, and confirmed cases have spread across Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. Whether it is an old tenement building or a mansion in the mid-levels, all residents have been diagnosed with the disease. In the past two weeks, a total of 3,940 buildings have been inhabited by patients.

The sewage samples discharged from Cheung Him House and Cheung Yat House in Nanchang Village were tested positive for the new coronavirus, and it was suspected that there were invisible patients in the buildings. The government sealed off the two buildings last night for forced inspection, and another 4 buildings in the estate were on the list. .

There are other public housing estates with many buildings on the list, as well as Li Cheng Uk Estate, Nam Shan Estate, Hoi Lai Estate, Fu Cheong Estate, Lai Kok Estate, etc.

The epidemic has also invaded Mei Foo New Village, a private housing estate. From Phases 1 to 6 and 8, a total of 20 buildings have been listed on the list. Other private buildings with confirmed cases include Beacon Hill Garden, the Cullinan above Nanchang Station, and Erden. Hao Ting, Yuqingxuan, Shengyueju, Hongjingtai and Blue Sea and Blue Sky of West Kowloon's "Four Little Dragons" are all on the list.

Another hardest hit area is Yuen Long, with 489 buildings on the list within 14 days, many of which are private buildings.

Grand Yoho and Yoho Midtown, which are connected to Yuen Long MTR Station, have accumulated 7 and 9 buildings respectively, and Yoho Town, which is adjacent to Yuen Long Station, also has 5 buildings on the list.

The Sun Yuen Long Centre, which is located above Yuen Long Station of the Light Rail, also has 2 buildings on the list.

In addition, a total of 11 households in Splendid Garden have been diagnosed, and 6 households in California Garden have also been diagnosed.

Kingswood Villa, a blue-chip housing estate in Tin Shui Wai, was one of the hardest hit areas. A total of 24 buildings had residents infected with the virus, including Mei Wu Residence, King Wu Residence, Green Lake Residence, Lok Wu Residence, Appreciation Lake Residence and Lai Wu Residence.

The epidemic has also hit many public housing estates in Tin Shui Wai. Among them, there are 13 buildings in Tin Heng Village with patients, 11 buildings in Tin Chung Court, and 10 buildings each in Tin Shing Court and Tin Shui Village.
