There are currently significant traffic obstructions in Holzkirchen.
The reason is an incident with a car at the Tegernseer Straße level crossing.
Holzkirchen
– As the police reported in an advance report, a 44-year-old from Holzkirchen was driving his VW Golf at around 5:15 p.m. on Tegernseer Straße, coming from Lochham in the direction of Holzkirchen.
Shortly before the level crossing, the apparently drunk man left the road with his car to the right and crashed into the traffic lights there, the St. Andrew's Cross and the barrier.
The car came to rest in the track area.
Due to ongoing rescue work, the level crossing is currently closed.
A BRB train is standing nearby and cannot pass the level crossing.
The DB emergency manager and the Holzkirchen police station are on site with several patrols to record the traffic accident and regulate the traffic situation.
The fire brigade went out to bind the spilled oil.
There are significant traffic delays in the village because the nearby level crossing on Miesbacher Strasse is closed.
A final report from the police follows after the route has been cleared and the accident has been recorded.
