The values of the average amplitude of the tremor of the internal magma channels of the volcano are at very high levels and the centroid of the springs is located in the area of the Southeast crater at a height of about 2,800-2,900 meters above sea level.
The instruments of the Ingv-Oe of Catania also observe an increase in
infrasonic activity which is located near the Bocca Nuova crater.
There are currently no significant changes in the deformation signals.
The Ingv has issued a red alert for the flight (Vona), but the international airport of Catania is operational.
