Sony announced in 2021 its plans to launch a set of virtual reality glasses for the new generation and the PlayStation 5, and while last January we received the technical details of the capabilities of the PS VR2 glasses, we now reveal the full design of its helmet and custom signs, the PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers.
The design of the PS VR 2 clearly draws inspiration from other Sony products in the current generation, and just like with the PlayStation 5 console and DualSense signs, the new virtual reality helmet will also incorporate the texture of icons embedded on the product.
It was further stated that the new helmet will allow players to customize the lenses according to their field of vision for maximum comfort.

Just like with the PlayStation 5 console DualSense remotes, the PSVR 2 remotes will also contain Haptic feedback and Adaptive triggers, so players can expect an immersive and deep gaming experience that they can immerse and lose within.
The helmet will also include Eye Tracking technology, which will allow game developers to create unique experiences that do not rely solely on the player's use of the new PSVR 2 remotes, which will also include a touch pad for players' fingers.

The PSVR2 will feature OLED screens with a resolution of 2000 × 2040 per eye and a refresh rate of 90 to 120 Hz.
The field of view of the players (Field of View) will be in the 110-degree range, and the new kit will include four internal cameras embedded as the device in order to monitor the actions of the players, so no external camera is required.
In addition, the new model will be connected to the console via a single Type C cable, and will include a much simpler installation process than the previous generation PS VR model.
