An animal has been sighted in the waters of the Oberschleißheim rowing regatta facility and has already attacked boats.
It should be about two meters long.
Oberschleißheim - The rowing regatta facility in Oberschleißheim (Munich district) is known as a good destination for walking, exercising or just relaxing.
But those who are out and about there could now also make a great discovery - in the truest sense of the word.
Sighting in Oberschleißheim rowing regatta facility: Animal should be two meters long
Police divers sighted a giant "monster" in the body of water earlier this year.
The
Bayerischer Rundfunk
reports that the animal is apparently two meters long and 90 centimeters wide.
Of course it's not a monster.
Instead, the police assume a Waller.

During a dive, several divers from the Bavarian riot police measured the area of the regatta course using sonar.
Afterwards, they evaluated the images and, according to a police spokesman, discovered a large object.
His guess: It's a catfish.
The police officers cannot say for sure, however, because they would have to carry out further measurements.
Large animal sighted in Oberschleißheim rowing regatta facility: It was already attacking boats
Willi Bock from the Munich rowing company told
BR
that the animal had often attacked boats.
Two broke - one of which was a four-seater rowing boat.
"They were standing in the shore area and all of a sudden it made a crazy bang.
The girls in the boat screamed, then water ran into the boat and then you saw something gray and it was the catfish," said Bock.
The same thing happened to a group of four girls with their rowing boat.
After that, according to Bock, nothing more happened.
The waller would never have attacked people.
